Lauraine Diggins Fine Art congratulates the following artists as finalists in this year’s
Wynne Prize for Landscape at the Art Gallery of New South Wales: Michael Mcwilliams, Elizabeth Kunoth Kngwarray and Sisters, Angelina Ngal and Kathleen Ngal.

Angelina is also the subject of an Archibald finalist (as Angelina Pwerl(e), as she is sometimes known).

Michael McWilliams is also a finalist in the John Glover Art Prize for Tasmanian Landscape.

Later in the year, the gallery will feature the work of Elizabeth Kunoth Kngwarray as part of an exhibition showcasing artists from the Mosquito Bore area, Utopia.

Recent reports citing a 10 year study into indigenous health have recognised the good health of the people living in outstations in the Utopia region where a more traditional lifestyle results in better nutrition and a higher level of exercise and general well-being linked particularly with their connection of living with the land.

We are pleased to also advise that Lauraine Diggins Fine Art will this year participate in the 5th Moscow World Fine Art Fair held at the Manege in Manezhnaya Square, Moscow from 26 May – 2 June 2008.
