The 2011 Victorian Indigenous Art Awards is being presented and hosted by fortyfivedownstairs in partnership with Arts Victoria. For the first time the VIAA will be curated by resident Indigenous curator, Nicholas Boseley.
The VIAA acknowledge and promote Indigenous artists in Victoria. The program aims to foster the production and exhibition of diverse, high quality art and increase economic opportunities for Indigenous artists.
