Bima Wear is a Tiwi women’s enterprise established 41 years ago in Nguiu, Bathurst Island, NT.
Ten Tiwi women currently produce fabrics featuring ceremonial symbols and structures, family and dreaming representations that are central to Tiwi culture.
Bima Wear was formally known as Pwanga Women’s Enterprises.
