Elizabeth Hutton Turner, an American art expert, will work to integrate the arts across the university’s curricula, officials announced Tuesday. Turner spent nearly 18 years at the Phillips Collection.

Turner will have oversight of the University Art Museum and the Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection. Plus, she will promote art, music and dance in UVa’s academic arena.
