Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, Governor of New South Wales will open the exhibition ˜Utopia Revisited’ at the NG Art Gallery along with guest speaker Jennifer Isaacs AM, distinguished author, art consultant and foundation secretary of the Aboriginal Benefits Foundation on Tuesday 12 February at 6pm.

NG Art Gallery in association with Coo-ee Aboriginal Art Gallery, Dacou Gallery, Gallery Australis and Lauraine Diggins Fine Art are proud to support the Aboriginal Benefits Foundation in their fundraising initiative to raise $1,000,000 to respond to the health needs of the Yirrkala community in East Arnhem Land.

All monies raised from the sales of the artwork will be donated to the ABF.

Artists exhibiting include Minnie Pwerl, Abie Loy Kemarr, Gloria Petyarr, Violet Petyarr, Kathleen Petyarr, Emily Kngwarrey, Angelina Ngal,.Kathleen Ngal and Poly Ngal to name but a few.

A number of fundraising ˜Feast for the Senses’ dinners will be held at Mission Restaurant Bar to support this fundraising drive on Tuesday 19 February and on Tuesday 26 February. Please see attached.
