More than 70 Indigenous Golfers will tee off in Brisbane this week when the National Indigenous Golf Championships get underway.
Nudgee Golf Course Coordinator, Peter Trudgian will take you through the course and why Nudgee decided to host the event. Peter says he hopes the event will encourage more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to take up golf but acknowledges that the cost of the game can stop people from getting involved.
The Ochre Charity Art Auction will be held in South Yarra on Tuesday night and is a project that uses the sale of art to fund health research into diseases affecting Indigenous children.
