The MCA has announced the thirteen artists selected for Primavera 2008, the Museum’s annual exhibition showcasing young Australian artists. Throughout its 17 year history the Primavera series has showcased more than 120 young Australian artists aged 35 years or under, providing valuable exposure at the early stages of their careers.
Opening this spring, Primavera 2008 will feature new and recent work by Marcus Canning (WA); Danielle Freakley (VIC); Ariel Hassan (SA); Mark Hilton (VIC); Paul Knight (VIC); Pilar Mata Dupont & Tarryn Gill (WA); Moya McKenna (VIC); Ms & Mr (NSW); Gemma Smith (QLD) and Soda_Jerk (NSW).
