Our work is drawn from this knowledge using distinct pigment colours of the region on
paper. One of the works shows the relationship between the cabbage palm and
Kokoberrin Elder Henry Gumhole, a Senior Kokoberrin Elder who fought to have his
people return to their country. Edwards works can be seen at the National Gallery and through out Australia and in Private collections.
The works of younger sister Lisa have graced the walls of Premier Anna Bligh’s office.
Lisa is the Chairperson of the Indigenous Arts Advocacy body, UMI Arts, and has played a leading role in growing traditional arts practice in Far North Queensland and the Torres
Straits.
