The artist, Two Bob Tjungarrayi (1938 – 2000), was a ceremonial elder in the Papunya area. His painting depicts ceremonial body decorations of the Tjungarrayi and Tjapaltjari skingroups.
Great provenance on this painting – it was originally sold through Warumpi Arts (the main gallery for artworks from Papunya, now closed) and through Japingka.
