Description

The artist has depicted the fresh-water crayfish dreaming site. The site itself located on the artist“’s clan estate resembles the body of the crayfish in both cooked and raw forms. This site was created by the Nakorrkko ancestors.

The Nakorrkko father and son ancestors are of major significance to Kuninjku people today. They founded elements of Kuninjku ceremony and marked the landscape with dreamings which today give various groups their respective identities.
