This exhibition showcases a number of exciting works by Aboriginal artists Annette Webb, David Webb, Ann-Maree Webb, Lynette Williams and Chontel King. This diverse range of works includes paintings, mixed media on canvas as well as gourds, bags and jewellery boxes featuring traditional Aboriginal designs.

These works focus on stories- womens’ stories, family history and the dreamtime. Each artist highlights different aspects of these themes throughout their works.

Annette Webb is a local artist who has worked with many mediums for over 20 years. In the last few years she has taught Aboriginal art to students at TAFE and her inspiration comes from a desire to succeed.

Annette’s works have been incorporated into publications such as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cadetship Program for the NSW Public sector and have been purchased by the Chinese and Japanese Embassies.

Annette has continued to create, teach and inspire her friends and family who have worked with her to bring this wonderful exhibition to fruition.
