Presenting William King and daughters Tarisse & Sarrita King.

Sarrita is a part of the Gurindji tribe, located near Katherine in the Northern Territory. Her father, William King Jungala, is a well-established aboriginal artist. Sarrita’s desire to paint grew out of interest in her father’s art.

Tarisse & Sarrita King will be in attendance on the evening and will be painting at thegallery during the four day exhibition.

Art works will be hanging from Thursday Feb 19th till Sunday Feb 22nd. 10am – 6pm daily

The King Family exhibition is a unique, colourful and culturally rich collection of acrylic on canvas artworks. William, Tarisse and Sarrita King have produced contemporary works which will capture your imagination and take you on a journey of spirit.

William King, born 1996 in Katherine in the Northern Territory was inspired by the elements of the Australian landscape. Sadly, he passed away December 2nd 2007 leaving a living legacy by way of his two beautiful daughters, Tarisse and Sarrita King, each outstanding artists in their own right.

This is an Indigenous art exhibition not to be missed, part of an art movement which is considered to be one of the largest in history with International interest at an all time high.
