The Parliament of New South Wales Aboriginal Art Prize has an award of $20,000, and is awarded annually to a NSW Aboriginal artist.

Entry Forms have been distributed across NSW since March, and should be forwarded to the Campbelltown Arts Centre. From the submitted entries, a number of finalist art works will be selected, and these finalist art works will be displayed in an exhibition at NSW Parliament House from 30 September “ 29 October 2009.
The winner will be announced at the opening on 21 October 2009, and the winning work is acquisitive to the Parliament of NSW. The exhibition of finalist art works will tour New South Wales in 2010, co-ordinated by Museums and Galleries NSW.
The judges of the 2009 Parliament of New South Wales Aboriginal Art Prize are Lorena Allam, Executive Producer of ABC Radio National’s Awaye! program and Dr Garry Jones, Lecturer in Aboriginal Studies and Visual Arts and Design at the University of Wollongong.
