New work by artists from Lockhart River, QLD
Featuring paintings by Patrick Butcher, Josiah Omeenyo, Irene Namok and Susie Pascoe. Puunyas, traditional weaved baskets, will also be on display.
Opening Event: Saturday 17th April 2010, 2 – 4pm
Josiah Omeenyo, Patrick Butcher and his son Simon, will make the long journey from Lockhart River to officially launch the exhibition and perform traditional dances for your viewing pleasure. Robbi Neal, Artistic Director, and her husband Peter Neal, Business Manager, both from Lockhart River Art, will also be present at the opening event.
